A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to watch us perform at ‘We have got Talent’ at Sandbrook Primary School. The night was a great success and we had so much fun. Unfortunately we didn’t win however we all had more fun than we could have imagined.

Again Thank You to everyone who brought their children and to those of you who kindly stayed to watch us.

Last Friday class 2A WON Lowerplace has got Talent with an amazing, surprise Flash Mob.

We have now qualified to take part in We Have Got Talent at Sandbrook Primary School. Here we will compete against children from other schools in Rochdale.

Wizard Writers this week

Wizard Writing

The Wizard has returned to Key Stage One and he has been helping us with our writing. In class 2a we took a delivery of ‘Magic Sparkle Dust’ which, when sprinkled on our work, has inspired our writing especially our amazing connectives. The WHOLE class have produced some amazing work this week and I am sure our writing will continue to improve over the coming weeks.

However the two children chosen for the Wizard Writing book this week were:
Ronak Razmara and Nabil Shah.
Well done and keep up the wonderful writing.

Remember to keep an eye out for the Wizard!

Safer internet day

safer internet day

Today is ‘Safer Internet Day’. This is an annual event which aims to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world. The theme for the day is ‘Online rights and responsibilities’, when we will encourage users to ‘Connect with respect’.

You can find more information by clicking on this link.

To help your children stay safe online the UK Safer Internet Centre has published some easy to follow videos which show you how to set parental controls for the major UK internet providers. You can see them by visiting the UK Safer Internet Centre website.
